Wasn’t sure what flair to use, but this does have a bit of lore.
I picked up this book last month from Exbar Tokyo Plus Akihabara (it’s a store next to a SE cafe that sells FFXIV merchandise). The title reads “Me and Mr. Corn” (or Mr. Corn and I if you want to be grammar accurate ).
I finished reading/translating the book, and it’s really cute! I won’t spoil the story but it is a story about Koana meeting the Cornservant during his childhood in Shaaloani (before he lost his family). The story is written by Banri Oda, with illustrations by Naoki Ikushima and Rina Yoshiura
Though the book never mentions Koana or the Cornservant directly by name, it is confirmed its them through this interview: https://jp.finalfantasy.com/news/5904
I love this book so much
