 | Hai all lovely FFXIV fam, just waiting for a FATE for those pesky ARR relics and its one of those ones that don't show up for hours so I'm being all nostalgic and reflective on my FFXIV journey! I started playing in lockdown during covid and dropped off a few times, before picking back up again and smashing my way through to EW, but then I realised i'd missed loads of content along the way! So I restarted from the very beginning with this beautiful toll femroe you see before you now. I've been playing with the ethos of not rushing through anything, doing as much of the content I can as released, and synced and MINE if I can find a party, including extremes and those HORRID BALLADS xD I've joined a couple FC's and made some beautiful pals along the way, and I'm even getting married (in game) to one of them soon! One day I will brave leaving my current FC and try and build my own community, but that's for when I run out of content! It's been a tough journey, but a positive one, sometimes I will just play for the grind, making bar go up kind of play, levelling jobs and gathering shiny weapons that I will never use again, gathering layers upon layers of dust in my armoire. Sometimes I've wanted to take a break and dip out, play something else, or just vegetate and watch movies in bed. But I always come crawling back, and I know I've got pals that will probably always be here, but if not, we still have the FC discord! I love this game, and the hardships it's gotten me through, trying to explain how its more than just a game to normies is impossible, but I know what it means to me, and that's what matters. Anyway, I hope you all have similar stories of loving this game and how it takes over your soul, and hopefully I meet some of you in game one day, probably in Sycrus Tower!
