Joined an M11S party detailed 'Arena split cleanup'. Party could not make it to arena split once in 45 minutes. I called this out and one of the tanks said "I've already cleared, I'm just helping some friends" - this doesn't change the fact that it was advertised as arena split cleanup but people consistently cannot get to that mechanic.
I play melee DPS and I've heard that the DPS check on this boss is quite tight so I've spent a long time practicing how to greed GCDs in between the weapons and I've gotten it down to a fine art about 90% of the time. I was doing this in the fight and I was doing it well, I wasn't dying and I was remaining stacked with the party where I needed to be.
This same tank says "Idk why you're greeding, you don't need the extra GCD, you need to see arena split". I said "Why wouldn't I practice that now?" and they responded that they consider it griefing. So for the next pull, I didn't greed and stayed out. We still all died. When I then tried to highlight that my greeding wasn't the issue, they left the party.
PFing this fight might just make me uninstall the game.
