A few nights ago I was healing Titan HM and we lost half the party very early due to Landslide and later wiped. The tank was running his/her mouth a lot(The "lern 2 heel" and "WTF" type). 2nd attempt went fine, tank again ran his/her mouth before leaving. Other healer sends me a tell blaming me for the 1st failure...even though they were part of the first Landslide mishap. Kind of annoying but that's fine. I ignore them both...or thought I did.
Later that night, I'm healing Keeper of the Lake. I go on autopilot because my mind is still thinking about how that Titan fight went. "Could I have done more?" "Was I the problem?" etc. I've always been a self loathing healer so this was proving hard to shake off.
We finish the dungeon and as I'm about to teleport away, one of the DPS says "Great healing
" and bows. It snapped me right out of my stupid thoughts. I gave him/her a hug and we were both off.
So thank you kind stranger, wherever you are.
You said something nice when I really needed it.
TL/DR: Healer gets pooped on. Healer sits in poop. Random person helps healer out of poop.
