So, I am one of the many Warriors of Light who live too far away from a Jollibee to participate in the food collab, so I was very excited to see that I could get the emote by purchasing a shirt from the collab website, COMPLEX. I put in my order on 4/22 and waited excitedly for my order to arrive.
Today, 5/29, over a month later, I've finally received the shirt I ordered. And I am incredibly disappointed with what I got in the mail.
First, let me start with the fact that the COMPLEX website lied about the quality of the shirts. The first image, saved by Wayback Machine from 4/22 vs the current description on the website today, 5/29. The original description states that the design would be screen printed and that it would be shipped within 2-3 weeks. This was then removed, and the shipping time frame was increased to 3-4 weeks. Also, no where on the listing did it say this was a Pre-Order, however during multiple conversations with support through COMPLEX, they referred to it as a Pre-Order.
Now, the shirt itself. I ordered a 4x, which is my usual shirt size. However the shirt I got in the mail is HUGE, closer to a 5x or 6x. And the design on the front is a decal, like it was ironed onto the shirt and I could just peel it off with my fingers. The shirt too is very thick and uncomfortable to wear, not that I would really even wear the shirt at all for fear of the design coming off in the wash.
I hope that people who got their orders earlier in the process got shirts that they're happy with, but this is really unacceptable.
