Is it fine and won’t cause me problems if I start in Limsa then immediately go to the desert to become a pugalist?

I’m thinking of starting ffxiv and I want to play as a monk but for various reasons I just wanna start at limsa, it’s not gonna cause me any problems down the line trying to progress the story if I do this right
