I did another mildly interesting thing that I turned into a video. This is my second narrated YouTube video ever. I really appreciate all the comments and constructive feedback on my last one, and hope you like this one too! I don't think I overdid it with the music this time!

Japan is the best in the world at executing FFXIV boss mechanics. Or so it seems. I sent a new character to their data centers to find out the truth, and my experience changed the way I think about party finder forever.

TLDW: Players in Japanese raids are statistically less likely to stand in the fire, possibly because...

• They use strats that prioritize consistency and minimize cognitive burden.
• They make better use of time with systems such as "1 food, 1 RC" or "3 wipes = disband". No suffering through hopeless wipefests (or abandoning groups mid-raid).
• They bring zero ego to the raids and don't get tilted over wipes. The "don't mind" attitude just makes everything more enjoyable.
