I made a timeline for Idyllic Dream as a poster

After completing the latest savage raid tier recently, I found myself captivated and inspired by this staggering capstone raid mechanic in M12S, one which people have called "one of the most complicated in FFXIV raiding history". I couldn't stop thinking about it, even after clearing it, and so decided to try and make this mechanic into a work of art that could double as a raid guide. What resulted is this timeline, which lays out every transition and mechanic in chronological order, all proportional and accurate to within a second of each event. Each point of note is accompanied by a timestamp and sometimes a diagram illustrating the moment in some way. Shoutouts to F1reman for the high-res arena images used in part of the background, and HUGE shoutouts to my wife Kai ( https://sharkbyt.es ) for supporting me through this project (especially when I nearly died lol) and for providing the night sky photos used for the rest of the background.

The strategy in these images are DN Uptime (which is how I learned the mechanic) and Caro Uptime (popular in EU), but i've also made versions for other strats that I will post below after this goes up. I made this as a piece of art first, and a raid guide second, so I don't recommend trying to use this image to learn Idyllic Dream from from the start. That said, I did try to make it so that someone who knows the mechanic could use it as a reference if they've wanted to. It won't be for everyone, but if it ends up helping you or your group, I would love to know about it!

I put in a lot of work to make this poster, but I love FFXIV raiding, and I love graphic design, and I had a lot of fun making this. I would love to do more like it for other raid mechanics, job guides, or whatever else comes to mind.
