I've been trying to make new friends to play since (about 2-ish years ago) my fc blew up because of drama and left because of half of the people i knew left as well and i was uncomfortable to be there after that.
Everytime i hit it off with someone anywhere it usually turns into us agreeing to add each other and play together later or talk a bit later but it ends up being either ignored for hours when i message them or any conversation becomes one-sided after we talked a bit.
I know people suggest oh find an FC with similiar interest or hang out in communities with similar interests. I've tried and it always ended up me just being a stranger there. Tried to put up a pf in the other tab if anyone wants to chat while fishing (since i like fishing) but always ended up either sitting there for hours or if anyone joins they chat for maybe 2-3 minutes before they dip. I'm not a dry person, i can talk about a lot of stuff but if im the only one putting effort into chatting, i start to get very discouraged and just give up.
Tried raid communities as well since i like raids and ultimates but there a lot of people have their friendgroups already or again just have very one-sided talks.
I feel very isolated and lonely.
Am i the only one having trouble like this or do anyone had similar experiences when trying to connect with someone in-game or outside the game?
