Could Hotshot get the Atonement treatment where you are not just spamming the same move 5 times in a row but go through a set of increasingly powerful attacks? even if it's only 10 potency or heck even a 5 potency increase.
Also with this or just in general could you remove the timer on Heated phase. With the removal of BLMs timers I think timers on other things could be removed as well to make them easier to use, such as when you have to switch targets in the middle of a Heated phase.
