Hey, I've had a fascination with how the various jobs have evolved over time, in conjunction with how the various expansions go about their Duties and the expectations they have on players. I only got started in the middle of Endwalker, so I missed how Monk had its Greased Lightning stacks, or Astro's spreads of cards, or everything to do with Summoner. I love the game as it is, but I'm so interested in what it was.
I know that the Job Guides that they post on the Lodestone have reasons and explanations for the changes they made, but those only go back a few patches at most. Does anyone have or know of any archives of these changes? It's one thing to read the changelogs and see "this action has been removed" or "this action's potencies have been changed" but it's quite another to see the actual intentions.
I'm new to this sub, so apologies if I've overlooked any rules or etiquette.
