Party or solo: party, my friend also had the same issue.
Area and coordinates: Mamook
Steps:
1. Have your hat/headpiece toggled to not showing
2. Play the new Hildibrand quests as of 7.45
3. Get to the quest "Meteorites and Meteor-wrongs" and meet Hardiboiled in Mamook after meeting him in Yak'tel, but before the extended cutscene shown in the innroom as Cutscene #1 (where you meet Spike).
In the first cutscene in Mamook before talking to npcs, your headpiece will appear in the cutscene, even if you have it toggled off. Once you're out of the cutscene, your headpiece will still be toggled on, even as your character info says it isn't. I had to toggle it "on" and then back to off for it to disappear. My friend who I was with and doing the quest with together had the same issue and commented that his headpiece showed at the end of the cutscene, even though his is also toggled off, and needed to toggle it "on" before it could be toggled off again.
