I really don't know a better way to describe it.
I play on two characters mostly. Spent the entire day playing on one, logged onto the other; the game said there was an issue with hotbars, so I figured I'd restart.
After restarting the game opened in the default windowed setting with the ARR title screen and asked if I'd like to configure settings. None of my characters are displayed, it asks me to select a data center to play but nothing else there.
I have attempted "Restore Game" through the launcher, no luck. I fully uninstalled and reinstalled, no luck. I did send in a ticket to make sure that my SE account is fine and in good standing and received a confirmation that it is (this whole ordeal did put my anxiety through the roof).
I don't know how to fix it at this point, anyone have any ideas? Please keep in mind I am very bad with tech stuff so talk to me like I'm a child.
