[Update Details]
FINAL FANTASY XIV Hotfixes (Sep. 17, 2026)
■ An average item level requirement has been added to the Crucible of the Unbroken duty to prevent players from unintentionally entering with low-item-level gear.
The required average item level for each board is as follows:
First Board of the Unbroken: Average item level 25 or above
Second Board of the Unbroken: Average item level 35 or above
Third Board of the Unbroken: Average item level 82 or above
First Master’s Board: Average item level 82 or above
Second Master’s Board: Average item level 82 or above
■ The following issues have been addressed:
・The wrong message was displayed when attempting to enter the Crucible of the Unbroken with a familiar below the recommended beast rank.
・In the Third Board of the Unbroken and Second Master’s Board, the obstructions created by the boss action Deadly Demesne could be circumvented under certain conditions.
・In the Second Master’s Board, under certain conditions, no damage was received when hit by the Mogsong Sphere action Burst.
・In the Morbol Piece encounter of the First Master's Board, Carrion Broth would sometimes spawn with reduced HP.
・In the Administrator Piece encounter in the First Master's Board, certain actions resulted in avoiding enemy attacks even when bound.
・In the Crucible of the Unbroken, the sound effect for gaining beast EXP was played continuously during the results screen at the end of the duty.
・In the Crucible of the Unbroken, executing Parting Blow or Final Sting in time with an enemy attack, while under the effect of Cover via the duty action Snarl, would nullify the enemy attack. To address this, when executing Parting Blow or Final Sting, Cover will now be removed slightly earlier than before.
・In the Crucible of the Unbroken, leaving the duty after executing the beastmaster action Borrow caused the One with Nature status to remain permanent, despite no familiar being summoned.
・In the Crucible of the Unbroken, the help text for the duty action Snarl was missing the following information:
- Duration: 15s
- Additional Effect: Removes "Enmity Up" from self, if inflicted.
・The New/Preferred World EXP bonus was not applied to beastmaster.
・Geshunpest in Central Shroud did not yield experience points upon defeat.
・In the main scenario quest "A Rush of Cold Wind," certain text was incorrect.
・In the main scenario quest "The World Locked in Ice," certain cutscene graphics were not displayed correctly.
・The motion of the samurai action Shoha was not displayed correctly when executed by male Roegadyn or male Hrothgar characters.
・Voice actors for the following characters were credited incorrectly in the credits added in Patch 7.56:
- Honey B. Lovely (English, French, and German)
- Brute Bomber (English, French, and German)
- Wicked Thunder (English, French, and German)
- Dancing Green (English)
・Macro icons using the icon for the beastmaster action Trick via the text command /macroicon were not displayed correctly on hotbars or the cross hotbar.
・The icon for the beastmaster action Trick was not displayed correctly in the Command Panel.
・The game may not close properly when exiting the game immediately after purchasing an item from the market board.
・World servers would crash in rare cases when the transfer process of Data Center Travel or World Visit coincided with certain other processes.
