 | I'm a big fan of u/Cevichelemon 's RP character Census published last year, especially the occupations chart. So I decided to gather my own from ARR's first 80 vistas. I always wanted to collect non playable characters' occupations from impression texts shown in each entry before you finally claim that vista. For example a text would be : "Under the azure...place hints here..." such were the merchant's words and I would see as he saw. That was the original scope, but I might as well take any mention of npc's in the vista log as well. only 60/80 vistas provided mostly direct data, and a few implied. The rest is more focused on nature or whatever. I made the region chart to show which regions of the map yielded results. The unlabeled slice of pie is unemployed, (the little boy). I did kinda want to include Heavensward and Stormblood, but the benefit of having just ARR as the focus is that they stopped doing "Such were the ___'s words and I would see as he saw" bit, and I wanted to highlight the richness of the base game's world building. submitted by /u/JepMZ [link] [comments] |
