Hey guys, so before I start explaining my issue here are my specs:
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 Super CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D Motherboard: Gigabyte B650 Gaming X AX DDR5 Windows 11
Okay so I'm posting here because I genuinely don't know what else I can do to fix this, I have a perfectly fine PC that works flawlessly but I have a small issue that comes and goes every couple of days, I have a really small and barely noticeable stutter on my desktop and it becomes noticable when I drag the selection rectangle thingy on my desktop.
Okay so why am I posting this here instead of a different sub?:
Because it affects FFXIV and it's the only game that gets effected by this stutter, it becomes unplayable when it starts happening. I confirmed this after noticing that the stutter in-game matches the frequency of the stutter on my desktop, and it's the only game that is affected by this I tried multiple other games and they were working perfectly fine.
It happens after long sessions and goes away after I leave my PC shutdown for a long period of time, It's like I have a timer everytime I boot up the game and there is smth that keeps building up in the background and I genuinely don't know if it's the game that causes my system to stutter or the system that causes the game to stutter, but I know they're connected somehow and what's more crazy is that no other game is affected by it, nothing on my PC is affected by it.
Sometimes I boot up my PC and start dragging the selection rectangle on my desktop like a crazy person just to confirm if the stutter is there to know if I can play the game or not. I literally tried everything I could do and have been trying to solve this for months.
I unplugged all USB cables on my PC, stress tested my RAMs, updated and reinstalled my GPU drivers multiple times, deleted my GPU cache, reinstalled the game over 7 times reinstalled windows twice and reset my PC once and it still there.
