Here is a list of Important Fanfest tips for first timers!
With Fanfest around the corner I wanted to share some tips with everyone attending!
If you see your favorite content creator (like me) or any others go up to them and say HI. TRUST me when I say us content creators and or people you know online are there for YOU. Trust me I ain't there for yoshi-p. I'm there to see everyone i've met in game and on streams!
DO NOT accept drinks from anyone unless you trust them with your life. This goes for alot of social events like twitchcon and meetups like Fanfest. At the bar or club? Get your drink together at the bar in front of the bartender. Its a scary thought but it happens. That one FC member thats been stalking you for ages gonna be there.
I highly recommend attending the Primals and Piano concert. You're there to celebrate FFXIV, you should enjoy this once in a lifetime experience! Who knows when the next fanfest is?
Plan ahead and get your schedule sorted out early because I promise you Friday and Saturday will go by so fast and you might not get to see everyone you want!
Buy your merch online if the stuff you want online is still available. Don't stand in line for 2-3 hours at the Con when you could be meeting your friends or explore other things.
Bring snacks or pre snack before attending because the inside lines for food and food truck will be insanely long. Last fanfest the wait for a nasty cheese pizza was like 1 hours lol.
Use deodorant.
Have fun! It's gonna be 3 more years maybe before we will see each other again. Lots can change, people can move on from XIV. Make some good memories!
