I recently moved house and after setting up my PS5 I noticed I couldn't get the launcher to load properly anymore. I thought it was an issue with my NBN connection, so went out and purchased some TP-Link meshes to help boost the signal. Immediately after setting up the meshes, I was able to log in and thought the problem fixed. I've been so busy lately I've not been able to actually sit down and play, but when I finally had the time, I found I was encountering the same problem.
The launcher will half load or not load at all, with messages of "A connection error has occurred. Please try again later." and "ERROR: 0x0000001C SSLERROR 0x00000000 Timeout was reached"
I've closed and reopened the game countless times, hotspotted my phone's internet, hard reset the console and router, and even completely reinstalled the game twice. The launcher actually loaded after the first reinstall but it was right before I had to head to work so I couldn't play. Switched the console off and when I came home it would no longer load.
I'm honestly at my wit's end. This has been going on for a week and I'm almost resigned to never playing again, even though I just forked out for my first 6 month subscription. My internet should be good, my NBN is with Telstra (Australia) 500Mbps download and 40Mbps upload speeds. I have three TP-Link Deco AXE5400 Tri-Band mesh situation around my house. Shouldn't that be enough? Can anybody suggest a fix or knows a solution?
