Creative Studio 3: Thank you for a game with no AI. PLEASE keep it that way!

Nowadays, it's impossible to escape AI. (I mean machine-learning or generative AI, not traditional game design CPU behavior code.) It's in our phones, it's on every website, and using it is required in order to keep up at work. Students use it to cheat, teachers use it to grade, employers use it to screen resumes. It's taking jobs away from artists and software engineers who are starving because they can't find work. It erodes the social skills of the young by being more compliant and present than other humans would be, increasing loneliness. I hate AI.

But, there is one place I can escape to where there isn't any AI: The world of FFXIV, a world I've been happily living in for 12 years.

I suspect in the near future Square Enix will ask Creative Studio 3 to put AI features into the game. Maybe an assistive help chatbot, or maybe a machine-learning-based RNG algorithm, or maybe an interactive NPC backed by an LLM.

Putting AI into this very-carefully-built social experience would erode away the glow from player interactions, and destroy the happy relationship between the players and the game's creators.

If you are working on FFXIV or have any influence over its direction at all, I plead you: please, please don't put such features in the game. This world is my one last bastion from the AI hell that is ruining my life. I don't want my Warrior of Light to go away due to AI, too, like so many other things in my life.
