M11S is fun but the Devs' lack of unlock requirements for harder difficulties, prog-point enforcement and the penalty rewards system turns what is a fun fight into the most miserable PF experience. Copy and Paste the fight as a Hard Raid with customizable Boss Health bar and Boss Damage bar. Have no rewards and make it an unlock requirement to be allowed to do M11S (edit: in PF; statics do not need unlocks). If it is too much effort to think about non-Week-One players in statics, maybe it's time for me to seek out another franchise with more than two difficulties at the extreme ends of the spectrum. I am one-augmented-accessory away from BIS for M11S. I got to Arena Split about four weeks ago and can barely get past trophy weapons now because the pool of players has dwindled during primetime on Aether. If 8.0 continues the trend of focusing fun on the very weakest and the most-strong and or most-assisted players, I think I'll be over Square. I was there in 1987 for your 'last'. I bought so many titles from you when they originally released that most readers here will not even know they existed. [What was the only Square game made in America and not released in Japan?] I have also completed so many challenges in so many games over that time that I could write a book on the history of game difficulties: I golded every level in Goldeneye before knowing what dialup was; I platinumed every PS3 title I owned (about 40); I laughed at the Souls series; I raced racing sims for real 24 hours; I've been in the top one hundred in online shooters; I've done it all. The system you have created here is not a challenge it just a system where the unhealthy scheduling of time by the players is rewarded and any delay is heavily punished. I never understood why anyone would ever pay real money for stuff in a game but seeing how players feel compelled to buy Savage loot or rent players for clears with gil has opened my eyes on that front. It should be obvious but you Devs do not really want people like me chained to another DC, waiting in PF, gambling on random players with too much time to think. The last thing I thought about while waiting last night: With the way many of them talk, I wonder how many Savage Raiders get ulcers?
