Are these threads taken as input? No idea. 
Would making a new consolidated thread and with a bunch of momentum from posts/views/thumbs-ups maybe get attention? Also no idea! But worth a shot!
Instead of making a bunch of new posts, relying on scattered posts from the past few years, or appending to the 11 year old existing thread, how about we add some stuff we'd like to see in the 8.0 interface in a new thread here?
I'd suggest one item per post (multiple posts if you have multiple ideas) so individual items can get their own thumbs-up counts. Repeat from a previous thread? Link it as well!
