Has this guy been following the WoL since ARR?
So for a bit of context this involves the Puff of Darkness and Wisp of Darkness two minion's that can drop for The World of Darkness and The Cloud of Darkness (Chaotic) respectively.
Now with Puff of Darkness the lore it came with was only that his body was discovered to missing after he was hanged following the discovery of The Puff of Darkness. Now this by itself means nothing just some juicy flavor text but cut to Shadowbringers and The Eden Raids were for the WoL summons a Primal in the form of the Cloud of Darkness which Eden Primals being Eden Primals doesn't match up to the original.
Now unlike the other Eden Primals which have reasons to look the way that they do... except Cloud of Darkness (Primal) their is no reason for her to look like what she does (To me at least) except one. Puff of Darkness. Which more or less confirms the person to discover Puff of Darkness WAS the WoL, which while cool didn't really mean anything...
Until Cloud of Darkness (Chaotic) where Wisp of Darkness drops, now due to its Lore means the Gridania Goldsmith (for some reason) just gives the WoL ANOTHER Cloud of Darkness minion while they were reminiscing.
