I have a Lenovo Legion 5 17ACH6H laptop (running Windows 11) that seems to have an issue with the system clock only when FFXIV is open. I play in windowed fullscreen mode so I've never seen it happen actively, but occasionally when I tab out of the game I find that my computer's clock is varying amounts slow to the actual time. The local time in FFXIV knows the correct time, but my system clock can end up anywhere from 20 minutes to two hours slow. It seems to be that the longer I spend in-game, the more off the time becomes. I've checked it multiple times in a single play session and the discrepancy only grew.
The system time can be fixed by unchecking and re-checking the "set time automatically" button in my date and time settings. If I do this while FFXIV is running I get kicked out of the game.
I'm not really sure what to do about this or what could be causing it! Is it a problem with the game or a problem with my computer? I know for a fact that it only happens when FFXIV is open and it's perfectly fine otherwise.
