Ok, I'm at my wit's end right now.
I've had this game recommended to me by quite a few people, so I thought, why not give it a try?
I downloaded it and spent 2 hours installing and reinstalling it without any luck of it launching past the launcher. The moment I click play, the game opens for a moment in a black screen, then closes without giving any errors.
I've tried every trick I've been able to find. I've deactivated every overlay I have, I have manually set launch parameters for DX11, I have tried renaming steam_api64, I've tried killing the Steam process before clicking play.
Nothing. Works.
Does anyone have any possible solutions that aren't using the version from Square Enix's website? Because it's a lot cheaper and simpler for me to use Steam than their site.
