So I just began Astrologian in heavensward and was doing runs in Aurum vale to get to level 50. I feel like I really have to babysit the tank and pop a lot of GCD heals compared to SCH, and ironically WHM. I feel like my heals are kind of weak.
Not to mention, a tank and a dps quit on us because he wasn't taking aggro from every enemy in the first room that he would pull, and I couldn't outheal it, so we wiped twice for the same reason. I wanted to ask some more experienced ASTs, how do you guys deal with big pulls. SCH and WHM I feel have very powerful buttons or strong oGCD heals, but I feel like I am lacking big bursts as an AST (even the 40s oGCD heal feels very weak to me), does it get better at a certain point or am I doing something wrong?
