So to give more context: I played through ARR twice and through HW once, but i am doing it all over again because my stupid face kept compulsively skipping when story got slow.
So to change things up and since i've tried every job below level 70, i decided to try out Gunbreaker.
And i fell in love with its aesthetic, and its gimmicks.
But... I dont understand anything about Tanking (apart from having a stance et keeping aggro).
I am not too worried about having an optimized rotation yet, because i know it comes with playing. (Though if you have some, i'll take any tips for that as well)
But i dont understand the "damage mitigations skills" priority.
I know some are considered big, some on CD, each tank has an invuln as well.
But i dont know when to use which.
So TLDR : i am absolutely new to tanking, i dont understand very much about it, and am looking for really, any tip but especially about how to use my mitigations more efficiently.
(Sorry if some of the phrasing is weird, english is not my first language)
