First off, this isn't a troll post or rage bait. In a small part it's venting, but mostly I'm legitimately wondering who feels similarly.
I've played FFXIV off and on since ARR; I enjoy the classes, combat, dungeons, raids, crafting, and the community. Basically, everything except narrative quests and stories. it's a slog though each expectation, every, single, time.
I wish content could just unlock naturally with levels and the story could be optional for those who want to skip it.
So, anyone else in the same boat? If so, what also keeps you playing?
