Hello. I apologize if this isn't quite the right subreddit, I'm not sure where else to post considering I'm curious about the FFXIV side of things specifically I guess.
So, I have some vision issues. None that make me lose sight completely yet, but I am a diabetic and have always been told eventually it's gonna happen no matter what I do. I had a surgery last year, and still get some eye strain in that eye, so it might have glaucoma as a side effect of the surgery (to be determined).
I wanted to post and ask if other players have vision issues in the game, but are still able to enjoy it pretty normally? I only recently picked up playing again. Originally I had played from 1.0 all the way up to EW launch. I'm having fun again, but now I keep getting kind of sad that for all I know, it might be short lived.
How is it playing with any kind of vision loss? Do you find the game still pretty enjoyable and accessible? For what it's worth, I main sage and dancer.
I guess I'm just trying to find info and get my ducks in a row to be able to cope with whatever might be coming my way, as this is one of the few hobbies I still have and enjoy.
