So, I have been playing for a bit and have made it to the start of Dawntrail. There are still so many things that I want to ask and I dont see a FFXIVnoob reddit like wownoob has, so I figgured I would ask them here.
1.5 I am googling glam and how that works, but im only going to dabble when I finish the end of the story (or else its too much at once). Is some gear only obtainable once? I have 2 or 3 items I want to turn into glam and have stored it in my retainer just incase, but I was curious if all the transmogs are farmable or if some are only obtained once and then never again?
3.5 If there is any special etiquette for the group as well, please let me know. I kind of just wait for everyone to join, thank them and que for the duty. By the end of the duty everyone is usually gone already.
Finally, thank you to this community. I usually just play the offline titles and joined wow for the Mrs. I dont know what I am doing but everytime I had to interact with someone, they had been amazing. really amazing. So from an introverted pleb, I appreciate you all and the community you have in the game. You guys rock.

- What do we do with all the unsellable gear? Is there a point in keeping them?

The queue times are extremely long for the daily dungeon stuff, Will that improve if I change homeworlds/servers? Im currently on Bismark. (Time zone GMT +9)
The long queue time is especially true if I queue for the super bosses (trials i think) duty finder. I have had it run for 3 hours before before giving up and retrying the next day. I end up using the party finder and honestly, I am lost. Is there any special etiquette here? I end up only using the duty name and a message saying "please help a sprout with msq dungeon". Other than that I skip 99% of the other options as there is just so much info on that screen.

The end super bosses of each expantion is fun, but chaotic as heck and you cant just focus on the patterns on the floor as you need to pay attention to the boss and the surrunding elements. Does this get easier or is it just something you need to learn? Im currently just following a random party member but if they dont know either it ends badly.
How do you get the purple flower on your name. Every party finder group had max level players with these cute purple flowers by their name. Do we get that at max level or is there something I can do to get it?
You get a lot of XP and as such I have 2 characters at max level already (by the end of Endwalker). Would it be better to get another class to level 90 to level them with the story? or should I just continue with one of my max level classes?
I dont plan on doing much endgame yet as I plan on mount farming and leveling classes, but i wanted to ask if the game is as ilvl grindy as wow or do you get pretty good gear by the end of the story/normal dungeon?
Is there a way of checking how well im doing? On wow (pc) we use things like "details" that track your dps and interrupts, but on PS5 I dont think thats possible. How do you usually know where you are lacking and can improve on?
Once I am done with the story and start mount hunting, is there anything you would recommend I do other than hunting mounts? I know we have the grand companies, and crystals from the world quests, but im not sure what is and is not important, so any advice is welcome.
Finally, thank you to this community.
