| | Revelation Irregular Tomestone Tracker for YOU! (click the above to open the Google Sheet!) In the interest of benevolent redundancy: Official Event Web Page ➡ (this is also linked in the Tracker) Oh my gods, they're back again! No starting city is safe! The Itinerant Moogles return on Tuesday, so dust off your Mogpendium and brace for Buuz. Earrings, I mean. Did you forget about the Mogpendium? Or maybe this is your first Moogle Treasure Trove event? Either way, I got you! Short 6-minute Mogpendium Video Guide Prefer text? I get it. Talk to an Itinerant Moogle (if you haven't yet) and your Mogpendium will be indefinitely available under Duty > Collection > Mogpendium. You can even assign it to a hotbar for easy access! This sheet is something I update for myself every Treasure Trove and like to share. It is far from the only tool out there for these events, so choose the one that works best for you! Collage of highlighted event rewards, including: Gwiber of Light, Laurel Goobbue, Cavalry Elbst, Legendary Kamuy, Auspicious Kamuy, Fashionably Feathered hairstyle, Porxie Earrings, Wind-up Sahagin, Griffin Hatchling, Tinker's Bell, and Red Mage Barding. Collectors, rejoice! This Mooglebux menagerie includes several rewards well-worth the tomestones to take home! First and foremost, the NEW Buuz Earring, at the usual 100 tomestone cost for debuting items. Next, a returning item in the form of the Porxie Earrings—which we haven't had available since 2023! It'll be 50 tomestones to procure their porcine perfection. Finally, the Special Timeworn Maps are once again on offer. These maps guarantee treasure dungeon portals, so gil, treasure, and achievement hunters alike would do well to stock up on these! Exclusives aside, there are a lot of other excellent items in the the Itinerant Moogle's shop. This is the part where I share my opinions on what other items I consider worthwhile (or not). MORE MOUNTS! If EX mount farms have not been kind to you, the Gwiber of Light and the Legendary and Auspicious Kamuy Fifes are on offer. All 3 of those come from trials that are annoying to farm, even unsynced, so the 30-50 tomestones may well be a time-saver for you to complete your collections! Two Allied Society mounts here let you dodge the usual rank requirements (or just the gil expense) to take home the Laurel Goobbue and Elbst mounts. AND MINIONS! The Wind-up Sahagin minion here is also available outside usual Society quest requirements. Tinker's Bell normally requires 6x Archaeotania's Horn (from the big FATE in The Tempest). And the Griffin Hatchling is usually bought with Centurio Seals in Ishgard—but we all know, Centurio Seals are for Aetheryte Tickets. Right? We've got 5 Triple Triad cards on the list! Keep in mind, these cards DO have quest requirements to show up on the Itinerant Moogle's list of goods, so review the Event Page if you need to. While nothing's as tantalizing as Varis this time around, the 5 cards on offer are each fairly worthwhile if you're missing them. The Magitek Colossus (from the Hall Overseer in the Triple Triad Battlehall) for 10 tomestones instead? Good deal! The Overseer has a powerful deck and can be a pain to grind. The Lost Lamb card from Prideful Stag is also 10 tomestones, but he's much easier to defeat and farm. The other 3 cards are duty drops, and at 7 tomestones each, they're very worth the price to add to your deck! As for other noteworthy and valuable collectibles: Red Mage Barding, rare untradeable loot from Anemos lockboxes. Parasol, the original fashion accessory, from Ishgard Restoration (1800 Skybuilders' Scrips). Modern Aesthetics - Fashionably Feathered, a PvP-exclusive hair style (18000 Wolf Marks). Ballroom Etiquette - Excessive Petticoats, the /sweat emote from HoH potsherds. (I recommend getting 10 potsherds for this, instead of dropping 50 tomestones) Don't Be Afraid Orchestrion Roll, a rare music drop from Eden's Promise: Litany. Onslaught, a rare music drop from Eureka Hydatos - Moisture-warped Lockboxes. Ballroom Etiquette - Excessive Petticoats, /sweat; normally obtained with 10 Empyrean Potsherds from Heaven-on-High. Shown on a female Roegadyn, highlighting the 3 key poses of the looping animation. THE ENDGAME: GLAM! This event offers the head and chest pieces of all 7 Warg sets, plus the Crescent Moon Nightgown and Bottoms. Showcase of all 7 sets of Warg gear from The Grand Cosmos. All sets are shown in full, next to just the Jacket and Pelt. The Fending, Maiming, Striking, and Scouting sets have a /visor effect for the Pelt to toggle a mask element. The Warg sets, from The Grand Cosmos, remain unique and undyeable, with no shared gear since their addition in late Shadowbringers. They're also from a Level Cap dungeon, which means it's pure RNG to get certain gear—no guaranteed job-appropriate gear drop like leveling dungeons offer. So if you like these sets and are missing pieces, this is a golden opportunity to grab that glam and skip that grind! Hopefully you already have the hands, legs, and feet—it took me DAYS of dedicated farming to get all 35 pieces for this showcase. The Crescent Moon Gown, front and back view, on male Au Ra and female Roegadyn. There are minor gender differences. Default colors and double dye previews are shown. Crescent Moon Cone and Crescent Moon Slippers are showcased alongside the Crescent Moon Bottoms (plus an ice blue form-fitting plain neotunic) to demonstrate the complete outfit. The Crescent Moon glamour is very niche, but also unique! If these suit your fancy, snagging these 2 pieces for tomestones to collect (or sell) is a pretty solid idea. These are mainly (exclusively?) crafted using some old ARR Treasure Map loot (Mist Silk) and require Fieldcraft Demimateria II—both a bit tricky to secure. So if you do want them, this event is a good way to get your set started. Keep in mind, Outfit storage requires two more pieces—feet and head gear (the Slippers, then either the Cone or Nightcap). Getting half the set without the material grind is still fantastic! Technically, you can try to get the whole set through this event, by getting extras to desynth into crafting materials. It's up to you if it's worth the desynthesis gamba to get enough materials, though! TL;DR: IT'S ANOTHER BANGER, I'M AFRAID! submitted by /u/asinametra [link] [comments] |
