Not only is the land rush still an issue for a lot of players, but you never do ANYTHING to try to fix the problem.
1) Auto-demolish is still off. This is an issue.
2) The random timer for plot purchasing is a pain the rear end.
3) The newly added wards you attempt to use as a fix, still have the same exact layouts.
The last patch you did with new wards, you restricted buying if not an FC, but you still allowed individuals to transfer there. That took several of the good plots. Most people, I'd even dare to say "nobody", wants a small (S) plot. Those of us who want housing, we like to decorate. We want mediums (M) and larges (L). You have only EIGHT L houses in a single ward (normal side & subdivision side), i think 10 Ms (maybe less), and the rest are S plots. You haven't changed this format, as if you haven't realized the lack of bigger housing is most of the complaints.
Right now, in my personal house, I have 4 crafting stations. My FC house has the OTHER 4 crafting stations. Why? Because for some stupid reason, I can't put all 8 in the basement of a smalll house. I even think a medium is only allowed 6, so I'd be forced to have a large, which i don't really need all that space. That would take it away from someone who wanted a L and all the space. Then, we talk about the limits of gardening, where even in a small house, if that's your thing, you can't just put the gardens all over the place. Can it make gil? Absolutely. Is it fair to those who don't put gardens all over the place? Still, absolutely bc there is the CHOICE for a player to choose to do what they want and use a plot in their desired manner.
I been personally pining for a M plot, that's all I want a M, a bigger house for my Free Company. I am next to a M plot, beachfront, in Shirogane. The M plot is owned by an individual who I have NEVER EVER EVER seen on his land, or in his house, or even at the summoning bell. Inside the house (all 3 stories), he has nothing but random beds & baths all over the place. No vendors, no mendors, NOTHING. Just a house full of garbage. It's like you don't understand that players will spend gil just because they have a ton of it (not that you need a ton, cause there isn't much the game requires you to buy) just because they have it and don't know what else to do with it. There are empty houses, even mansions, that trolls buy and never use just to keep someone else from it. I know that "instanced housing" like apartments have been mentioned before, and you seem to ignore it at every turn. Why not even do it so you walk up to a plot, choose FC or Individual (as always), then there let us DECIDE what size that plot is?
If the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over thinking it will change things, Square, you guys are definitely insane b/c adding new wards with the exact same restrictions and limits on housing is INSANITY.
