when i was a mere child, i LOVED DC Universe Online. i was so young, i hadn’t a clue what an MMO or RPG or MMORPG was. i just loved the quest types, the boss battles (and what were raids, i just never knew the name), the GEAR, your character going from someone w basic attacks to a god. I never found a game that matched it. I decided to finally pick up FFXIV free trial, i am now level 35, and I have gotten every itch scratched from my childhood on this game. i’ve even shed a couple tears already!! the gear, the quests, THE RAIDSSSS. the COMMUNITY! this is the best MMORPG i have played in years. i am going to absolutely milk the F2P part, im gonna max my SMN, then going to go for a TANK build, maybe even do a HEALER build too. this game has hooked me. i started legit 2 days ago, and am level 35 already. i am absolutely in love with this game, i can’t believe i never gave it a real chance for so long. long had i forgotten the fun which was DCUO, and playing this game is like reliving that feeling as a child again. i love these quests, the “grind”, if you’d even call it that, is so fresh and rewarding. i can go hours running quests and not get bored, due to the storyline. this game has its grips in me, and i genuinely pray it doesn’t let go for a long long time. bless all of you players, for welcoming me to one of the best gaming experiences i’ve had the honor of playing.
