I was thinking of setting up a discord for players like my cousin who plans on staying on free trial because he can't commit to a monthly subscription. The idea is to set up a Discord and CWLS for free trial players to make up for their inability to join a FC. I'd like to set up a community where new players can ask questions / get advice, free trial players can request full players to set up parties, and we can bring free trial players into challenging ARR & Heavensward content like MINE/ synced ex trials and savage raids.
Please give me your thoughts on this idea. Do you think such a discord would be useful among the hundreds of other FF14 community discords? Do you think the Free Trial player base is large enough to warrant the need for a discord?
