I've been taking an extended break from ffxiv, and I wanted to uninstall it to make room for some other games, but as I understand it, on steam you need to manually go the steamapp files and delete the game there, since uninstalling from steam just uninstalls the client. My worry is that deleting it there will affect my account, be it character data, or hotbar settings, etc. I assume it should be fine, but I figured I'd double-check just to be sure. If anyone here has done this before, confirmation would be very much appreciated!
