It isnt like they KNEW everything that was going to happen, as it is their first attempt.
I personally quite like to watch a video guide on a raid boss so that i am not completely inept about the mechanics of the fight, but i dont represent everyone. Some even view the fight itself as spoiler if contained in a video.
Everyone does every raid and boss for the first time. Nobody is an expert before they even attempt it.
