Why cant I format any thread I make?

Every time I make a post for some reason I cant make new paragraphs, it all comes up as a wall of text. Also, I cant click on any of those button things at the top like the image icon or the youtube icon....what am I doing wrong? I made a long post for pitlith's golf thread,


but it came out as a GIGANTIC wall of text.

That's odd. I post exclusively from non-IE browsers, and it works fine for me.
