I came here to ask for an advice from some experienced folks who played white mage, summoner and dancer already as well as players who choose one of those roles. FFXIV is really my first game that I played for longer since my boyfriend really likes it and I enjoyed it so far as well. I'm not an experienced gamer at all and at times it was a little bit hard for me. For now I have been playing white mage and I think I'm doing a pretty good job with it.
Recently my boyfriend told me that he wanted to try playing healer since he is kinda burned out on the dps and before playing with me he really enjoyed being a healer in other games. Since I can't ever imagine myself playing tank I decided to look into dps roles to learn one so we can still play together. From what I read and heard the easiest roles are summoner and dancer and they look really cute too (I'm a simple girl okay). But I'm kinda scared of trying a new thing because it still looks complicated to me. Before I invest any resources into learning one of those roles I wanted to ask this one important question.
Do you think I will be able to learn how to play summoner/dancer if I can play white mage comfortably?
Like I said, besides FFXIV I don't really have any other experience in playing games and I have totally no skill lol
