So I main the WHM I also play SAM but I main WHM, either way, I have no experience as a Tank, but I wanted to get at least 4 classes. A Healer, A Mele DPS, A Ranged DPS, and a Tank. I decided my ranged DPS was going to be MCH and decided I likes the DRK for Tnk.
Now I'm not stupid I knew this would clearly be different from playing healer I just wasn't aware...how much. So out of habit, I kind of just stood there at first because clearly not used to having to run in first then, targeting the monsters as usually I only have to go up and down the list to heal people. I mean unless I play SAM.
Now somehow through the power of sheer panic and luck, I managed to hold all the aggro and not get anyone killed. I got commendations and was told I was a good tank. I said thank you all whilst thinking. "No, no I'm not, you have no idea how close you were to dying. Did you not notice the I accidentally turned off Grit you sweet summer child "
