Steps:
1. Open a log like crafting log or go to the market board.
2. Make a search.
3. Take notice of items on your hotbars: they start blinking.
It happens with any button on your hotbar that contains an item or a macro with and item as icon. Happens with any search in the game, although with isearch is barely noticeable but the blinking is very annoying when searching in a log or the market board because it takes a while.
