So, regarding gameplay and how to play your class, when does the "I'm new" excuse not work?
I ask this after a certain event I had in leveling que. I ended up in Stone Vigil as a White Mage. Tank was a warrior sprout. Well very first pull lead to near wipe. Mid way in the fight I realized tank didn't have tank stance on. Well after the fight was over I said "Tank, turn on tank stance". Nothing. I asked again, and the tank responded with "I'm new" and still didn't turn on tank stance. After a third time, he got mad and said I was being toxic and left the group.
After he left the BLM was trying to defend him, saying hey the guy was new, but I argued that level 43 is far past the point where "I'm new" works as an excuse to not turn on tank stance when asked.
So what do you think? At what point does the newbie defense stop working?
