To prefice I'm a very new player.I remember going to my friends house when I was really young and watching his brother play Final Fantasy 8. It captivated me, I was amazed at how detailed everything was and how immersive the story was. I'd try and sneak to play it but a lot of the times I'd be kicked off . Fast forward to when I got my Ps2 for Christmas and got FF 10. It was my favorite game ever! I beat it like 10 times, and ever since then I was hooked played every FF since. I was bored during the pandemic and was looking for a new game to play and stumbled across XIV. The free trial is very generous so I gave it a go. I watched a ton of beginner videos and they all said the beginning of the game was rough. Boy were they right about that, small tedious tasks. Once you get past that and delve into the story this game is amazing! My most memorable moment so far as coming face to face with Ifirit! I felt like it was seeing a long lost friend! I've also had amazing moments in dungeons learning the mechanics from either watching or very nice people in party chat. The game feels like I'm a part of one of the most amazing movies ever. I also love to go around and see how creative other peoples toons are! I feel like I'm only scratching the surface. I was just curious to see what other peoples most memorable moments have been so far.
