This game has some seriously good-looking model designs and I always think it's pretty neat when they're repurposed into mounts for our characters. Some of these mounts started as basic mobs like Morbols, Dodos, Wyverns, and Goobbues. Others are based on unique bosses like Behemoth, Typhon, and Fenrir. And a few are based on elements of the story like Black Chocobos and Amaros. So if you could pick something in the game that isn't already a mount and turn it into one, what would you go with?
Me personally, I'd love to see a ridable version of the Cruise Chaser in its airship form, maybe just a little larger than a Manacutter. And as much as I love the Twintania mount I would be overjoyed if it was recolored into a white Vedrfolnir mount.
I'm curious to see what the community would be interested in so get creative and share your ideas! Plus if a mount you suggested here ever gets implemented somewhere down the line you'll have the honor of referring back to this post and saying you called it. Congrats in advance!
Also, I know a dozen of you are going to answer with "Aymeric" or something to that effect but let's try to avoid riding anything sapient, yes? This is a family show.
