I’ve seen about a thousand posts on this subreddit asking what new jobs people would like to see in 6.0, or what changes they would like made to existing jobs. But I’m curious as to what everyone would like to see in the upcoming expansion aside from that. A few of the things I’d personally like to see implemented:
Also, as a side note, does anyone expect any large scale changes (engine, graphics, combat, etc.) in the next expansion? The reason I ask is because Yoshida said in an interview that he wants to include lots of gameplay footage in the 6.0 trailer, and that makes me think he’s up to something big, considering that the last 3 expansions didn’t really change anything significant enough gameplay-wise to show in the trailers.

More high quality cutscenes, like G’raha’s tail
Combat in underwater zones, that utilizes the ability to move in every direction (spherical AOEs, mechanics that affect the Z Axis, etc.)
Cross class glamours, because why not
Praetorium and Castrum made into solo duties
More interactive dungeons, with branching paths, secret rooms, secret bosses, etc.
Crystal Tower being a separate roulette, so we can s as actually get other ones in Alliance roulette.
The ability to move individual hot bar squares, for more customizable UI
