What Is Tathlum (dnc's Arms)?

I think DNC's Arms have 4 patterns i.e.

Quoit - It come from throwing game. This weapon type must have grip for carry it.
Chakram - We usually see this weapon type in many game. It must have circular blade and focus on symmetry appearance.
Glaive - This weapon type significant is extra sharp blade instead circular blade like Chakram aka. throwing blade.
Tathlum - Only this one that I confuse because their model are vary. From my searching, this word means sling-stone in Irish Celtic legend and use to refer throwing weapon in FFXI. I wonder what is main identity of this weapon type in FFXIV.
