I would love to hear everyone's - realistic - inputs about what they would want to their jobs in the next expansion! My wishlist for Red Mage, the main job that I play, is:
For RDM:
- Engagement having its potency adjusted to 200, and become the actual finisher of the melee rotation and Displacement having its potency, target requirement and shared recast time removed, to become purely a movement skill;
-Scatter and Veraero II/Verthunder II swapping cast times, to become more cohesive with how the RDM spell progression of a Red spell followed by an aspected spell usually happens;
- Enchanted Reprise mana cost reduced to 5 of the highest mana you have at the time. If your mana is equal, it will consume 3/3 of both mana. This will make the spell useful to correct extreme mana imbanace mistakes, and would also make less taxing on your overall mana gauge to be used in heavy movement scenarios;
As for actual new features, I'm not quite sure where the RDM design could go... It's so well put, that even ShB's additions couldn't bring anything drastically new. Scorch is basically a buffed Jolt replacement, but I'd defnitely would love to see spells like Water, Quake or Wall having their Ver's.
