I dunno if its just me witnessing people botting dungeons for the first year of me playing this game or what but lately I've noticed that whenever I get queued into Tam-Tara, I end up partying with someone using bots.
They don't look like your regular BLM bots, rather they look like any old regular human player.
But here's the thing, they walk through a dungeon together in the same pattern. Kinda like a bot.
Here's an example:
You queue up into a dungeon as a DPS and are greeted by someone. They say either "o/" or "hi". You can clearly see the character moving around as if someone is playing them. This person is a Healer. But you noticed two of your party members (the Tank and Ranged DPS) are standing there. The dungeon begins but they sit there for a while and so does the other player. The two begin to eat food and go into the dungeon but you noticed the two start walking in the same path, like follow the leader. Sometimes they do a quick 180 then turn back around from time to time while the Healer acts normally. When engaging in combat, the Tank immediately stops, does the weapon unsheathing animation, and beings walking towards the closest enemy. Exactly 3 seconds after the tank engages, the Ranged DPS begins to attack. After combat, the Tank and DPS stand there for a few seconds, then proceed to follow the path again, doing the same weird pathfinding and combat. It feels like the other person with you is controlling them.
I've noticed this happening after they dropped those tomestones for doing old content dungeon runs. Been through tam-tara too many times and seen it 70% of the time with different classes and people.
Tried looking at forums about this but came up with just the regular old teleporting or BLM bots.
Is this a thing now? Like someone using other player accounts like a Trust system?
