So really we need to get a personal "unlimited ability that requires us to build up to it. I suggest we do this on the next expansion since we will be in the 90s during it and as all final fantasy's go max lvl is 99 so its about time we get some kind of "real power" that isn't party based.
my suggestion for this is when we reach that point we start earning Merits and from there we pick a "trance" type
based on an emotional signature
anger,love,sorrow,joy etc this trance would then active based on our job. We could link anger to blm for an example and it gets a trance state that upgrades all magic to the next tier during its active time.
