I just received a /tell in-game that referenced a forum post and something about a patch SE is putting out that has insensitive content, and asking for you to vote on their forum post (e.g. Petition of sorts).
Square Enix Should Not Allow This Update At Such A Sensitive Time, Please Vote Against It Before They Ruin The Game On The FFXIV Forum Post: <removed link>
However, the link URL is not legit, and goes to a bogus site that is setup exactly like an SE Account Login page. I will not re-post the link, but I will say the primary '.com' portion ends with '-bv.xyz'.
.xyz is a super cheap domain, and definitely linked to some account scamming BS. If you get a message like this, definitely just ignore it and report the player who sent it if you can.
