So you’re loading into expert roulette, the healer is obviously experienced and the dps are rating to go. You go ahead and start pulling and the dps are pushing their parse has hard as they can while you’re kiting the first group to the next. You’re using your aoe combo because if you don’t hit every and all mobs on the way your healer or that very eager dancer is going to attracts some negative attention.
Now the whole gang is here. You’re trying to keep everything lined up and deal with mechanics like a contestant on an old Nickelodeon game show. But storm’s eye isn’t up, you could potentially be doing more damage. But to get that damage buff you have to not do aoe damage for three gcds so you’re trading potential damage for real damage. Plus those initial mobs aren’t thrilled at the constant aoe leveled at them by the dps since you introduced yourself, going single target has a real chance of losing aggro on at least one mob.
Should you just not worry about storms eye in mob pulls?
