I'm loving the new DoL Collectible system. A nice clean window, that features all the pertinent buttons. Very handy overall.
Almost immediately I couldn't help but think that the DoH should get a similar treatment, even for non-collectible crafting.
Now, I know DoH has more actions for doing things. But I also think this could be done. Especially if you can merge in the computations on the window, as opposed to having to hit Triangle (at least on PS4), to bring up this window.
If you used the L1/R1 switch, you could easily have two tabs in the DoH crafting window.
So when you open the Synthesis window, at the top you'd have the Progress/Quality circle, as the DoL collectible window has. Below this, you have the tab area that switches between actions exclusive to Synthesis, or Touch.
And below that, you have an area with the other actions, for buffs and the like.
The numbers for the strength of an action could be above or below the button.
Personally, and I realize some might hate this idea, I really think this would be a wonderful change to the DoH crafting window as a whole, both for collectibles and normal craft.
It might be a larger window on your screen. But in most cases you're crafting in the HUB anyways, not out in the open world. So you don't need to see what is going on around you as much as you would with DoL out in the wilderness.
